YOUTH GROUPS
Today we stand on the threshold of a new era in the life of MCC and potentially our nation as well. Never before in my lifetime have I felt such a sense of urgency to be about God's business.
The youth of our county are an often overlooked mission field. Even though they are right here in our own backyard, many do not know that God loves them and has an awesome plan for their life.
Recent studies have shown that 85% of all people who become followers of Christ do so before they graduate from high school. This fact alone is enough to prove that we should be spending vast amounts of time, energy and effort to reach our children and youth with God's love. We can no longer stand by and waste valuable time.
MCC's youth love God. They want to reach their friends for Christ.
They know that only a living relationship with Jesus can get us through all that life throws our way, so they intend to take this message to their peers.
Our youth need loving, devoted adults to pray for them, guide them and encourage them as they reach out to those in their schools and neighborhoods. They do not need someone to do the work for them, only assist them in their efforts.
